A whistleblower says the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) rushed a landmark study claiming the planet was warming much faster than expected in order to influence international climate negotiations. Dr. John Bates, the former principal scientist at the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C., told the Daily Mail NOAA’s 2015 study was meant “to discredit the notion of a global warming hiatus and rush to time the publication of the paper to influence national and international deliberations on climate policy.” Bates said NOAA scientists made a “blatant attempt to intensify the impact” of global warming to eliminate the “pause” in temperature rise since 1998. Vice president Mike Pence cast the confirming, the tie-breaking, vote. Of course, today you'll hear the gnashing of teeth by democrats as they pretend what happened is simply unprecedented. The fact of the matter is, they have just reaped what they have sown. We'll see how she does. Of course she has to face a hostile bureaucracy in the department of which she is now in charge. One has to assume, just as in the State Department, career bureaucrats and teacher's union sympathizers will team up to try to slow up and screw up any implementation of a new agenda. What a Superbowl.  What an epic collapse, or comeback, whichever you prefer.  Anyway, it was entertaining.  And, so was the half-time show.  I publicly apologize to lady Gaga for saying she was going to “musically  lecture us on inclusiveness”.  I thought her show was high energy, very entertaining and just what the doctor ordered. It’s fairly well known that the Pats Tom Brady and Coach Bill Belichick are favorably linked to Trump.  Shaun King, a well know race-baiter (also known as “Talcum X”) couldn’t help himself. Everything is a crisis, and everything is unprecedented in the new Trump Administration. Apparently, political violence is perfectly OK. Hate speech is not free speech. Never let it be said the Democrats  are a party of contradictions : The Democratic National Committee is kicking a candidate out of the chairmanship race after he told The Hill that Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) should not be the party’s next leader because he is a Muslim. In a Jan. 5 email to The Hill, Vincent Tolliver, a former House candidate in Arkansas, said that Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, should not be chairman because of Islamic positions on homosexuality. “His being a Muslim is precisely why DNC voters should not vote for him,” Tolliver wrote. “Muslims discriminate against gays.
